From static security to a full-spectrum investigation firm
Two and a half decades in three chapters.

1999
Founded as a security provider
Gunma began in 1999 as a static security provider. As we listened to our clients, it became clear that many of them needed something security guards could not give them: reliable facts about the people and businesses around them.

2000s
Investigation becomes the core
Over the following two decades we built private investigation into a core service line, based in the Klang Valley and reaching clients through a network of branches from Penang to Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu. Our work also extends to Southeast Asia and the Middle East when a case crosses borders.

Today
Evidence, then legal advice
Today we combine field investigators, technology and a tie-up with 20 law firms, so a case can move from evidence to legal advice without the client starting over.
